EMC measurements are required by many different government agencies throughout the world. EMC is an important compliance issue for equipment manufacturers. With the increased use of wireless communications, the potential for interference is also increasing. VPI Laboratories has fully equipped facilities; including a 10 meter open area test site and a 30 meter open area test site, needed to perform the EMC measurements you require. We perform EMC measurements to a wide range of international and domestic standards.
Radiated Emissions and Conducted Emissions applications that are covered are FCC Part 15 Subpart B for the United States, ICES-003 for Canada, EN 55022 for Europe and AS/NZS CISPR 22 for Australia. VPI Laboratories has testing facilities for making measurements at 3 and 10 meters. Each of the sites is listed with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and complies with the Normalized Site Attenuation requirements given in ANSI/IEEE C63.4.
Radiated and Conducted Immunity testing is required for the CE Mark in Europe. VPI Laboratories can coordinate Radiated and Conducted Immunity Measurements with our Partner Laboratory Nemko in Carlsbad California. This provides for a seamless approach to cover the CE Mark immunity testing. VPI Laboratories has built one of the most advanced EMC Anechoic Chamber in the world, in the Salt Lake Valley.
Testing services are provided in support of obtaining approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Industry Canada (IC) for low-power radio transmitters and receivers. Testing services cover products which contain ZigBee, Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies. VPI Laboratories provides full testing and certification for the FCC, Industry Canada, and European Union CE Mark testing. FCC and IC Certification is through our Telecommunication Certification Body (TCB) Partner Nemko.
